I am planning to hammock camp in Michigan in in between their spring and fall season and night temperature is around 30 to 70 degrees. Can you recommend a sleeping bag to go with my hammock that is breathable and cool even during warm seasons?
A surplus military ECWS system is a good buy because the green bag is well-made for sleeping from the 50s up to the 70s, the black bag is good down 30s, and the combination of both is comfortable down to about zero. It will keep you warm even for a while if the temperature reaches down negative 30. It has a Gore-Tex outer bag to keep you dry during moderate rain, given that you are not in a puddle.
